Privacy Policy for Car Accident Claim Helper
Effective date: May 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Car Accident Claim Helper mobile application (the “App”) handles information when you use it. Muehldorf Software Development, based in Amman, Jordan (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the App. You can contact us at info@muehldorfsd.com.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Summary
This version of the App is built so that your claim-related entries (such as questionnaire answers, notes, tracker rows, checklist progress, and similar) are stored on your device. Muehldorf Software Development (Amman, Jordan) does not operate a user account system or our own cloud database for that content in this version, unless we clearly describe otherwise in the App or in an updated policy.
The App includes bundled educational content that ships with the installation. It also uses advertising technology as described below.
2. Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the App, locally stored information may include:
- Onboarding state, including acknowledgment of disclaimers and acceptance of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy where the App requests it.
- Intake / questionnaire answers you enter.
- Claim tracker entries (for example, insurer names, policy numbers, claim numbers, adjuster contacts, deadlines you type).
- Evidence index records and captions (and references to files you choose on the device).
- Notes, favorites, checklist progress, selected U.S. state, claim value organizer, and injury log entries you create.
This data remains on your device unless you export or copy it yourself (for example, through share or clipboard features) or unless your device backup (iCloud, Google backup, manufacturer backup, etc.) includes app data according to your settings.
Some of the information you choose to enter may be sensitive, including health or injury details, insurance information, financial amounts, contact information, claim numbers, vehicle information, photos, documents, and notes about an accident. Please enter only what you are comfortable storing on your device.
3. Permissions and local file references
The App may ask your device for permission to access photos, camera, documents, or similar system pickers so you can create or attach local evidence references. These permissions are used to let you choose or capture items for your own organizer. The App is designed to store references, captions, and related metadata locally rather than uploading your files to our servers.
If you move, delete, or revoke access to an original file, a reference in the App may stop working.
4. What we do not collect (in typical operation of this version)
We do not run a backend service in this version that receives your questionnaire answers, claim notes, photos, or PDFs for storage on our servers as part of normal App operation.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Advertising and analytics-related data
The App may display third-party advertising (for example, through Google AdMob or similar providers). Ad networks may collect device-level identifiers and usage or performance signals related to ad delivery (for example, which screen loaded an ad), in line with the ad network’s policies and your device settings.
Generally, ad networks in this configuration do not receive the contents of your private organizer fields (such as your full intake answers, evidence descriptions, or notes) as part of the same structured “claim file” upload—because we do not transmit that bundle to our servers in this version. However, any third-party SDK may collect technical data as described in its provider’s documentation.
Advertising providers may process information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, measurement, diagnostics, and ad personalization where allowed. Depending on your region and device settings, this may involve consent prompts, advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location inferred from network information, app interaction signals, and device or browser-like technical information.
You can often limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example, Apple’s “Tracking” or Android’s Ads settings, subject to OS version and region). Where required, the App or ad provider may request consent before personalized advertising. You can also review Google’s advertising privacy information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
For more detail, see the in-app Trust center → “Ads and data disclosure.”
6. Sharing, export, and clipboard features
If you use share, copy, email, document picker, or clipboard features, the information you choose may leave the App and be handled by the destination you select (for example, your email app, messaging app, cloud drive, insurer, attorney, repair shop, or clipboard manager). We do not control those third parties after you choose to share or copy information.
Exported claim summaries may include sensitive information such as insurer names, policy numbers, claim numbers, adjuster contact details, medical notes, addresses, injury records, bills, deadlines, and evidence notes. Review exported text before sending it.
7. Support email
If you contact us by email (for example, for feedback or to report incorrect content), we receive whatever you choose to send (email address, subject, message body, attachments). We use that information only to respond and improve the App, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for general adult use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13, or a higher age where applicable law requires. If you are a parent or guardian and choose to enter information about a minor as part of organizing a claim, you are responsible for doing so lawfully and carefully. If you believe a child has provided us personal information by email or another support channel, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
9. Your choices and controls
- Erase local data: Where the App offers “erase” or “clear” options (for example, in Settings), you can remove locally stored user content. Erasing data in the App does not necessarily delete backups already created by your phone or cloud provider.
- Uninstall: Removing the App from your device deletes local app storage subject to your platform’s backup and restore behavior.
- Ads: Manage personalization as described in section 5.
- Permissions: You can change photo, camera, document, notification, or other device permissions in your operating system settings where applicable.
- Support email: You can ask us to delete or stop using support messages you sent, subject to legal, security, and abuse-prevention needs.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or appeal/complaint rights. Because claim organizer content is stored locally in this version, the most direct way to exercise those rights for app-entered content is through the App’s local controls or your device settings. For information you sent to us by email, contact info@muehldorfsd.com.
10. Retention
Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete it in the App, uninstall the App, clear app storage, or your device operating system removes it. Device backups may retain copies according to your backup settings.
Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, improve the App, comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
11. Security
We design the App to keep sensitive organizer content local. Local storage relies in part on your device’s operating system protections and backup settings. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device (lock screen, device encryption where available, OS updates) and for what you share with third parties (insurers, attorneys, repair shops, medical providers, etc.).
12. International users
If you use the App outside Jordan, your information may be processed on your device and, if you email us, in Jordan and wherever our mail or support systems operate, subject to applicable law.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, provide notice through the App or store listing. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy, except where local law requires explicit consent.
14. Contact
For privacy questions, contact info@muehldorfsd.com or use the contact method shown in the App’s Trust center.
This Policy describes our current practices for the App as described here. It is not legal advice. For regulated industries or jurisdictions with specific requirements, consult qualified counsel.
