Privacy Policy — Cert III Electro

Last updated: April 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how muehldorf software development (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Cert III Electro app, also referred to as Certificate III Electrotechnology (AU) (the “App”).

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at info@muehldorfsd.com.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the App and related support communications.

2. Information We Collect

Information stored locally on your device

The App stores certain information locally on your device so core features work properly. This may include:

  • bookmarked reference sections;
  • quiz or exam progress and scores; and
  • app preferences or similar usage state.

This locally stored information is used to provide App functionality and improve your experience within the App.

Information you provide directly

If you contact us by email, we may receive the information you include in your message, such as:

  • your name;
  • your email address; and
  • the contents of your communication and any attachments you send.

Advertising and third-party data collection

The App may display advertisements, including through Google AdMob on supported platforms. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect or process certain information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostic information, and ad interaction data, in accordance with their own privacy practices.

On iOS, the App may request permission under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework so that more relevant ads can be shown and ad performance can be measured. If you deny tracking permission, the App should continue to function, but ads may be less personalized.

We do not control how third-party advertising providers collect or process data once their services are used. You should review their privacy policies for more details.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the App;
  • save your bookmarks, scores, and preferences;
  • respond to support requests and communications;
  • display ads and measure ad performance where applicable; and
  • protect the App, our rights, and users from misuse.

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable under relevant law, we process information based on one or more of the following:

  • your consent;
  • performance of our agreement with you to provide the App;
  • our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App; and
  • compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in the following situations:

  • with service providers or platform providers that help us operate the App, such as advertising or analytics-related providers if enabled;
  • if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
  • to protect rights, safety, and security of the Company, users, or others; or
  • in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

6. Data Retention

Information stored locally on your device generally remains there until you delete it, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.

If you contact us by email, we may retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

Third-party providers may retain data according to their own policies.

7. International Processing

Depending on the services used by the App, information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by third-party service providers. By using the App, you understand that such processing may occur subject to applicable law.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information under our control. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intentionally directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at info@muehldorfsd.com.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.

To make a privacy-related request, contact us at info@muehldorfsd.com. We may need to verify your request before responding.

11. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services, app stores, device operating systems, and advertising providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App, app listing, website, or another appropriate location. The updated policy becomes effective when posted unless stated otherwise.
