This Privacy Policy describes how Dont Tap (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our mobile game on iOS. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new date at the top when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
1. Summary
- The App stores game progress, settings, and statistics on your device (not on our servers).
- Apple Game Center is optional; if you use it, Apple processes account and leaderboard data under Apple’s policies.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) may show ads and use data for advertising as described in Google’s policies; you can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
We do not operate our own analytics service or backend that collects personal data from the App for profiling.
2. Information the App Stores on Your Device
The App uses on-device storage (for example Apple’s UserDefaults) to save things such as:
- Settings: sound levels, haptics, motion/accessibility options, visual preferences (for example ring theme, high contrast, larger touch targets).
- Gameplay: high score, lifetime stats (games played, wins/losses per micro-game type, streaks, boss stats), daily challenge progress, unlocked cosmetic content.
- Purchases: a local flag indicating whether you have removed interstitial ads (synced with Apple’s record of your entitlements).
This data stays on your device unless Apple’s systems sync it through your iCloud or device backup according to your Apple account settings. We do not operate a server that receives this gameplay data from the App.
Debug logging: The App may write technical messages to the system log on your device for development and troubleshooting. Those logs are not sent to us by the App.
3. Apple Game Center (Optional)
If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Apple authenticates you and may show your player identity (for example a nickname and avatar) in leaderboard views. The App can submit your high score to an Apple-hosted leaderboard so it can appear in Game Center.
Game Center is operated by Apple Inc. For how Apple uses Game Center and Apple ID data, see Apple’s privacy policy and terms.
You can decline Game Center sign-in or sign out in your device settings; leaderboard features may not work without it.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show advertisements, including:
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads after some game-over flows, unless you have purchased Remove Ads (interstitials are then disabled; other ad experiences may still apply as implemented in the App).
- Rewarded ads you can choose to watch (for example to gain an extra life in-game).
When ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect and use identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads, including as described in Google’s advertising policies. That processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, choices you make in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompts on your device.

5. In-App Purchases
Purchases (for example Remove Ads or other products offered in the App) are processed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Apple provides us with information needed to validate and fulfill purchases (such as transaction status and product identifiers), not your full payment card number.

6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region) in a way that requires us to collect their personal information. Advertising networks may have their own rules about ads shown to younger users. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we should address a specific concern, contact us at the email above.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. Much of the data in Dont Tap is stored only on your device; you can often clear it by deleting the App or using system settings (and iCloud/backup behavior is controlled by Apple).
For data held by Apple or Google, use their privacy tools and account settings. For purchase history, use your Apple ID media and purchases settings.
If you contact us with a privacy request, we will respond as required by applicable law.
8. International Users
If you use the App outside the country where the data controller is established, your information may be processed in other countries (for example where Apple or Google operate). Those providers describe their practices in their own policies.
9. Security
We design the App to minimize data collection. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure. Protect your device with a passcode and keep your Apple ID secure.

12) Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and your use of the App are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any legal action or proceeding related to this App shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Amman, Jordan. By using this App, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of and venue in such courts.
