Privacy Policy — France Citizen Master

Last updated: 23 May 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how France Citizen Master (the "App") handles information when you use our iOS version (distributed via the Apple App Store) and our Android version (distributed via Google Play). Both versions are offered by the same publisher ("we", "us").

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The App is published by Muehldorf Software Development, based in Amman, Jordan. You can contact us at info@muehldorfsd.com.

1. Summary

  • The App is a study and quiz tool for French civic knowledge. It does not require you to create an account.
  • Your quiz progress, language choices, legal consent records, and related settings are stored on your device only. We do not operate our own servers to collect this data from you.
  • If advertising is enabled in the App, Google may process certain data to show and measure ads, subject to your choices and applicable law. The App uses Google Mobile Ads and, where required, the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent and privacy options.

2. Information the App stores on your device

The App may store the following locally on your device (for example using UserDefaults on iOS or DataStore on Android):

  • Whether you have completed onboarding
  • Acceptance of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (including version and timestamp)
  • Interface language and quiz-related language preferences
  • Selected region or scope for quizzes
  • Quiz activity: number of completed quizzes, which question identifiers you have seen (by region), best exam scores by region, and related progress indicators
  • Other UI state (for example dismissal of certain prompts)

This information stays on your device unless your device's backup or sync features (such as iCloud backup or Android device backup) copy app data according to your platform and account settings. We do not receive this data from the App.

Uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data (Android) typically removes this local information, subject to your device and backup configuration.

3. Advertising and third-party services (Google)

When ads are shown, the App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). In that case:

  • Google (and its partners, where applicable) may collect or process identifiers and usage-related data to deliver, personalise, and measure advertising, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Advertising Policies.
  • On Android, the App may declare permission to use the advertising ID where required for ads measurement, in line with Google Play and platform rules.
  • On iOS, the App may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission separately from ad consent; your choice controls whether certain tracking-related identifiers may be used as permitted by Apple and applicable law.
  • Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), the App may present a consent or privacy options flow through Google UMP. Your choices there control how certain data is used for ads, within the limits of that framework.

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of "selling" data lists. Ad partners may process data under their own policies for advertising purposes as permitted by law.

For clarity, this policy covers the App's use of Google UMP for ad consent and privacy options, and Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) where iOS tracking permission is requested.

4. Internet access

The App may use network access to load advertisements and related consent or configuration content. Quiz content is largely provided inside the App (bundled assets). Apart from ads and standard platform services, the App is not designed to send your quiz answers or progress to our own backend.

5. Analytics in the App

Any "analytics" or statistics shown inside the App (for example counts of completed quizzes or accuracy) are computed from data stored on your device. This is not the same as third-party analytics SDKs sending events to our servers—we do not operate such a product analytics pipeline for this App as described in this policy.

6. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own use beyond what third parties such as Google may process when ads are shown, as governed by their policies and applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that concerns you, contact us using the details below.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

  • For data processed by Google in connection with ads, please review Google's help and privacy pages and use the privacy options in the App (when available) or your device and Google account settings.
  • For data only on your device, you can delete the App or clear app storage as supported by your device.

8. International users

If you use the App from outside the country where the publisher is established, your information may be processed in countries where Google or Apple operate, which may have different data protection rules. See their respective policies for more detail.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. We may ask you to review and accept the updated policy in the App where required by law. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires a different approach.
