Privacy Policy for Insurance Exam Prep

Effective date: April 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Muehldorf Software Development handles information when you use Insurance Exam Prep (the "App").

Summary

The App is designed as a study tool. It may store your study settings and progress on your device, and it may use advertising or app-store services that are provided by third parties. The App does not market its content as state-approved, legally verified, or exam-guaranteed.

Information You Provide or Generate

Depending on the features you use, the App may store information such as:

  • Selected state, license lines, exam date, and daily study goals.
  • Practice answers, bookmarks, progress, streaks, readiness metrics, weak topic snapshots, and simulated exam history.
  • Consent and onboarding choices.

The current App experience is designed to keep this study data on your device unless a feature, app-store service, advertising service, operating system function, or future sync feature states otherwise.

AI-Generated Study Content

The App may include content that is generated, assisted, reviewed, or organized using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or different from your state's current licensing rules. You should verify important information with official sources before relying on it.

Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for ads, app-store purchases, crash reporting, analytics, or platform functionality. These services may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, usage data, purchase data, or other information according to their own privacy policies and your device settings.

Advertising and Consent

The App may show ads through Google AdMob and related Google advertising services. Agreeing to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use during onboarding is not the same as consent for personalized advertising or for cookies and similar technologies where separate consent is required by law.

Legal agreement vs. ad consent

  • Onboarding: You accept our Terms and this Privacy Policy, which describe how the App works and how we handle information in general.
  • UMP (User Messaging Platform): Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or certain U.S. states when configured in AdMob), Google may show an additional consent dialog after onboarding. That dialog is configured in our AdMob account and operated by Google's UMP SDK. Your choices there control whether the advertising SDK may request ads and how partners may use data for ads in those regions.
  • Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS, the App may also ask once whether it may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Privacy options in the App (iOS): When required, an Ad privacy → Privacy options entry appears on the Insights tab so you can review or change ad privacy choices provided through Google.

What ad partners may collect

Ad services may collect or receive device identifiers, IP address, app and ad interaction data, coarse location, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, and improve ads. Google's practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's ad technology partner information.

When ads are shown

Ads are requested only after applicable consent steps complete and the advertising SDK indicates that ads may be requested (canRequestAds). If you decline consent, limit tracking, or ads are turned off in the build, ad loading may not occur.

Your controls

You can manage ad-related choices through:

  • UMP / Privacy options in the App (when shown)
  • iOS Tracking settings and Privacy & Security settings
  • Android Ads / privacy settings on your device
  • Resetting or reinstalling the App (which may show consent flows again where applicable)

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to:

  • Provide study plans, progress tracking, practice sessions, and simulated exams.
  • Remember your preferences and consent choices.
  • Improve reliability, performance, and content quality.
  • Support ads, purchases, subscriptions, and app-store operations where applicable.
  • Comply with legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or platform requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal study progress. Information may be shared with service providers or platforms when needed to operate App features, display ads, process purchases, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Data Retention and Controls

Study data stored locally may remain on your device until you delete it, reset the App, uninstall the App, or clear the relevant device storage. Some platform, purchase, advertising, or diagnostic records may be retained by third-party providers according to their own policies.

Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the App if you are under 13.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a study app, but no app, device, network, or storage method is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means the updated policy applies.

Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws applicable in Amman, Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the fullest extent permitted by law, privacy-related disputes will be handled in the courts or competent forums located in Amman, Jordan.
