Privacy Policy for NEC Master Suite

This Privacy Policy describes how NEC Master Suite ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), published by Muehldorf Software Development, handles information when you use the mobile application.
NEC Master Suite is an educational study and reference app that provides exam-prep content, calculators, and reference materials for electrical licensing and code study. Some in-app branding or legacy configuration may still refer to Electrical Powerhouse.
1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information in two ways:
A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores certain usage and study data locally on your device so core features work properly. This may include:
- selected study mode or exam track
- exam scores and attempt history
- flagged questions
- question performance and flashcard progress
- bookmarked reference sections
- calculator favorites and recent tools
This information is used to provide app functionality, personalize your study experience, and help you resume progress.
B. Advertising and Device-Related Data
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. As part of ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization (where permitted), Google and its partners may collect or receive certain device and usage information, such as:
- device identifiers
- IP address
- approximate location derived from IP address
- app interaction data
- ad performance data
- diagnostic information
On iOS, the App may request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you allow tracking, Google or its partners may use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and related data for ad measurement or personalized advertising, subject to their own policies.
If you deny tracking permission, the App will continue to function, but ads may be less relevant and ad measurement may be more limited.

2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Based on the current version of the App, we do not require users to create an account and we do not intentionally collect the following directly through the App:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- payment card information
- precise GPS location
- contacts
- photos
- microphone recordings
If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate and maintain the App
- save your study preferences and progress
- show ads and measure ad performance
- improve app stability, usability, and content quality
- comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information under their own privacy policies. These may include:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads
- Apple services related to the App Store and App Tracking Transparency
You should review the privacy policies of those providers for more information about how they handle data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information that we directly collect through the App.
We may allow third-party advertising or platform providers to process device and usage information as described above to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, or support app functionality.
6. Data Retention
Study data stored by the App is generally kept on your device until:
- you delete it
- you uninstall the App
- your device clears app data
Third-party providers such as Google may retain data according to their own retention practices and policies.
7. Your Choices
Depending on your device and jurisdiction, you may be able to:
- deny or revoke tracking permission in your device settings
- reset or limit ad identifiers through your device settings
- uninstall the App to remove locally stored app data
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address the issue.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the App, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Use
If you use the App outside your home jurisdiction, your information may be processed by third-party providers in other countries, subject to their own safeguards and policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
