Privacy Policy for PMI Career Path

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the PMI Career Path app (“App”) handles information on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

The App stores learning progress locally, such as completed lessons, practice answers, selected goals, and onboarding acceptance, using system storage such as UserDefaults or app-private files. We do not operate a login, user account, or App-owned backend for core study features as shipped.

2. Bundled study content

Practice questions, explanations, and lessons are bundled in the App for offline study. The App does not need to send your answers or study activity to an AI service to generate responses during normal use.

3. No backend by default

Core study features are designed to work without sending your study content to our servers. If you enable system backup, restore, or sync features offered by your device or cloud provider (for example Apple iCloud or a Google account), App data may be included according to your device and account settings.

4. Advertising and tracking

The App may display ads through Google Mobile Ads or similar SDKs. Ad partners may collect identifiers, device information, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and usage signals for advertising, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and measurement, subject to their policies and your platform privacy controls.

Ad consent: Where required, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show in-app privacy and advertising consent forms, including where GDPR-style consent rules apply. Your choices are managed by Google’s consent SDK and can affect whether personalized ads are requested. When regulations require it, you may also access a privacy options form from within the App to update those choices.

App tracking: On iPhone and iPad, if the App needs permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising, Apple may show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system dialog. You can change your answer later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Consent prompts run after you complete onboarding, when the main study screen is visible. The advertising SDK starts only when UMP indicates that ad requests are allowed.

5. Analytics and diagnostics

We do not operate a separate first-party analytics pipeline in the App as shipped. Third-party SDKs used for ads may perform ad measurement, diagnostics, and reporting as described by the provider.

6. Sensitive information

Do not enter sensitive personal information into free-form fields, support messages, or store reviews. The App is intended for study progress and practice activity, not for storing confidential information.

7. Retention and deletion

Local study data remains on your device until you reset it through App or OS controls, delete the App, or your operating system removes it. You can delete App data by removing the App from your device or using available OS-level storage controls.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region). Do not use the App if you are below the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction without verifiable parental consent where required.

9. Your choices and rights

You can limit ad tracking through platform settings and consent prompts where available. Regional privacy laws may grant rights to access, delete, correct, or object to certain processing. Contact us through the store listing support channel to exercise applicable rights.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
