Privacy Policy — Scrum & Agile Master

This Privacy Policy describes how Scrum & Agile Master (the “App”) handles information when you use it. The App is published by Muehldorf Software Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here, together with our Terms of Use.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to end users of the App on devices where the App is installed. The “publisher” or “we” means Muehldorf Software Development, based in Amman, Jordan.

2. Summary

• The App is built for offline study; no account is required.
• Progress, bookmarks, notes, and similar data are stored on your device by default.
• If ads are enabled in your build, advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may collect or process data according to their own policies.
• We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense of selling lists of identities for money.

3. Information stored on your device

The App may store locally, depending on your use:

• Lesson completion, quiz results, flashcard scheduling, bookmarks, notes, and related study metadata
• App preferences (for example, onboarding completion flags)

This data remains on your device unless you enable a future feature that explicitly syncs to a server (this MVP does not require a backend account). Uninstalling the App or clearing storage may permanently delete this information.

4. Advertising and analytics (where applicable)

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) or similar SDKs may be integrated in some builds. Those services may:

• Use advertising identifiers or similar device signals
• Collect technical data (for example, IP address, device type, coarse location derived from IP, app version)
• Use data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization according to the provider’s settings and your device privacy controls

For details, see Google’s privacy documentation for Google Mobile Ads and Google Play services. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency and privacy settings may limit certain tracking when configured.

5. Crash or diagnostic data

If we add crash reporting in a future version, this policy will be updated to name the provider and categories of data collected. The current open-source-style MVP primarily uses local logs in development; release builds should not intentionally collect personal content from your study notes beyond what crash tools automatically attach to a report.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for a general audience including adult learners. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us through a channel we control, contact us at info@muehldorfsd.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it, consistent with applicable law.

7. Your choices and controls

• Device settings: You can limit ad tracking or reset advertising IDs through your operating system settings (Android: Google Ads settings; iOS: Privacy & Security settings).
• Uninstall: Removing the App stops local collection by the App.
• In-app legal screens: You can review the current Terms of Use and Privacy Policy text inside the App when we surface them.

8. International users

We are based in Jordan. If you use the App outside Jordan, your device may still process data locally, while advertising or analytics partners may process data in other countries according to their policies. We rely on appropriate legal bases where required (for example, contract performance, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or consent for optional processing), consistent with applicable law.

9. Retention

• On-device data is retained until you delete it or uninstall the App.
• Ad partners retain data according to their own retention policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App (and/or update the store listing) and revise the “Effective date” above. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance, where permitted by law.
