Privacy Policy — Elite Driver UAE: RTA Theory

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Elite Driver UAE: RTA Theory (the “App”) handles information when you use our mobile applications on Android and iOS. The App is published by Muehldorf Software Development (referred to below as “we,” “us,” or “our”), as shown on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store listings for Elite Driver UAE: RTA Theory.

Note: This document is provided for transparency and store compliance. It is not legal advice. You may wish to have it reviewed by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction.

1. Who we are

Muehldorf Software Development (based in Amman, Jordan) provides Elite Driver UAE: RTA Theory. The App helps you study UAE driving theory, including quizzes, a timed mock exam, a road-signs quiz, a penalty-match game, and a searchable reference of violations, fines, and black points. We do not operate a user account system inside the App for sign-in or profiles.

2. Information the App processes

2.1 Information stored only on your device

The App saves certain preferences locally on your device so the App can work as you expect. This data is not sent to our own servers by the App as currently designed.

Data Purpose
Language preference Remember your chosen app language.
Favorites (e.g. bookmarked items) Remember items you mark as favorites.
Quiz progress & answer history For each answered question we store its identifier, category, the answer you chose, the correct answer, whether you were correct, the content language, and a timestamp (most recent ~500 answers). Used to show your progress, accuracy, weak topics, wrong-answer review, and readiness score.
Onboarding & legal status Remember that you completed onboarding and which Terms/Privacy version you accepted.

Your readiness score, accuracy, weak topics, and "questions today" statistics are calculated on your device from the data above; they are not separate data we send anywhere.

On Android, this is stored using Android DataStore. On iOS, this is stored using standard on-device storage (e.g. UserDefaults). This information may be included in your device’s backup if you use platform backup features (e.g. Android backup / iCloud), according to your device and account settings—not because we operate a separate cloud backup for the App.

2.2 Information collected automatically for ads and networking

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob (Google LLC). To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect or process information such as:

  • Device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS where available and permitted)
  • IP address and general location (often at region or city level)
  • App and ad interaction data (e.g. impressions, clicks)
  • Technical diagnostics related to ad delivery

Android: We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent and choices where required (for example, in the EEA, UK, and similar regions), before or in connection with personalized advertising where applicable.

iOS: Where applicable, we use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can allow or deny tracking in the system prompt; you can also change your choice later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (wording may vary by iOS version).

Whether ads are personalized depends on your choices, your region, platform settings, and Google’s policies and technology.

2.3 Information we do not intentionally collect through the App

As built today, the App does not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, postal address, phone number, or payment details through the App itself. We do not integrate our own analytics SDK that sends your usage to our servers in the current codebase, and your quiz progress and study statistics stay on your device.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

If laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on:

  • Consent, where required, for optional tracking or personalized ads (via platform dialogs and Google’s consent tools)
  • Legitimate interests where appropriate (for example, providing the App, measuring aggregated ad performance through Google as a processor/partner, and fraud prevention in the ad ecosystem as handled by Google)

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling lists of users.

Information related to ads is shared with Google and, depending on how ads are served, advertising partners participating in the ad ecosystem. Their use of data is governed by their own policies, including:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

5. International transfers

Google and ad partners may process data in the United States and other countries. Those transfers may be subject to safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms described in Google’s documentation, depending on your region.

6. Retention

  • On-device preferences and progress (language, favorites, quiz answer history, onboarding/legal status) remain until you clear app data, uninstall the App, or overwrite them in the App. Quiz answer history is automatically capped at roughly the most recent 500 entries.
  • Ad-related data retention is determined by Google and partners according to their policies and legal obligations.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

  • Ads & tracking: Use in-App and device settings (Android ad settings, iOS Tracking, Google’s Ads Settings where relevant).
  • EEA / UK / similar: You may have additional rights under local law; Google’s consent and industry tools may also offer choices for ad personalization.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of certain “sharing” or “sales” as defined by California law. Most ad personalization is handled through Google; see Google’s disclosures for the advertising services they provide.

To exercise rights against us for any data we hold as a controller (e.g. if you email us and we retain your correspondence), contact us using the details in Section 1.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Ad services may have their own age-related policies; Google’s services are subject to Google’s policies.

9. Security

We rely on the security of your device and the platforms (Google Play, Apple App Store) for distribution. On-device data is protected by your device passcode, encryption, and OS protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Third-party services

The App’s main third-party service for advertising is Google AdMob. Other system APIs (e.g. network access) are used so the App can load content and ads. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services opened from ads or links inside ads.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, in the App or on the store listing). Continued use of the App after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.

This relates to the content you read, not to how we collect data, and it does not change the information practices described in this Privacy Policy.
